What's the point? Just because the tools are unusual for this kind of graphics doesn't make it good. It's till as average as if it would be done in Illustrator.

the point is that while most people would need to use a computer to achieve this kind of image, he has achieved something with just as high if not higher production value by hand. the point isnt the image its the quality of the work..

Actually, the choice of tool was of little importance when I posted this. I just liked the composition and dynamic quality of Hess' work.
